MY STORY
My name is Steph, I live in Milton Keynes and I set up my own VA business back in February 2017. Prior to this I worked for 19 years in many different administrative roles for Mitie, a FTSE 250 company. Initially starting out as an office junior on a YTS scheme, I then gradually worked my way up through the ranks and in my last role I worked as the PA to the Managing Director for Security and Clean Environments.
In January 2017, I was given the opportunity of taking redundancy and this allowed me to re-evaluate my life and think about what I wanted to do in the future. I am highly motivated and driven, I strive for perfection and enjoy being a great organiser. Having so many years of administrative / PA experience, a virtual PA was the obvious next step for me.
Steph worked for me for 7 years as my PA and executive assistant and supported me as MD of a £650m business unit with 40,000 staff and a few challenges here and there. She was a tremendous support and her organisational skills and attention to detail are second to none. She was also extremely popular amongst the team which again is a great advantage in a politically interesting PLC. Her deadline delivery was also first class, which is / was something I insisted on. I could not recommend Steph highly enough, she was simply fantastic at what she did.
